Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clearwater Valley walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Prairie Pirates with a sharp 20-10 win on Saturday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by six runs or more this season.

Clearwater Valley has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Prairie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Clearwater Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-4 loss against Kendrick on the 15th. Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
