Baseball Recap: Tigard Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Tigard was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tualatin Timberwolves by a score of 2-1. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Camden McCormack spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

Tigard now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Tualatin, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5-1.

While Tigard had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
