Dalton came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Heritage Generals. This was payback for the Catamounts, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Andrea Hernandez was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Hernandez wasn't the only good server: Dalton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive games.

Dalton's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Heritage, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-9.

Dalton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cass on the 9th. As for Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gilmer on the 9th.
