Belleville skates past Northville with ease

Recap: Belleville Tigers vs. Northville Mustangs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Belleville Tigers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over Northville. The win was just business as usual for Belleville, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Leading Belleville to victory were Jeremiah Beasley and Bryce Underwood. Beasley rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while Underwood threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes. Beasley was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. Another player making a difference was Adrian Walker jr., who picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Belleville's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.14 points. As for Northville, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Belleville's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Davison at 1:00 p.m. on November 18th. Davison is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Northville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
