It's playoff time, and Newark Memorial had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Moreau Catholic Mariners 5-2 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Moreau Catholic with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ibrahim Ahmed (2), Nicolas Bran, Daniel Mendoza, and Daniel Macias.

Newark Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those six games. As for Moreau Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
