Basketball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

If Glenn was riding high fresh off their 50-27 takedown of Novi last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glenn Bobcats fell just short of the Evart Wildcats by a score of 42-39 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Wildcats are ranked 49th).

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Evart, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Glenn has already played their next game (against Birch Run), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Evart, they will head out on the road to challenge Roscommon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
