Basketball Recap: Bowie Victorious

Bowie won the last time they faced Jefferson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bowie Bears skirted past the Jefferson Silver Foxes 48-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bears have posted against the Silver Foxes since January 25, 2019.

Several Silver Foxes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Valles, who posted 15 points. The dominant performance gave Valles a new career-high in points. Tobie Bustillos was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The win got Bowie back to even at 5-5. As for Jefferson, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Bowie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-25 loss against Permian on the 12th. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-47 victory against Anthony on the 13th.
