Shawn Davis, East Duplin's leading rusher, solidified his role on Friday. Davis showed up in a big way, rushing for 155 yards and three TDs. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (105.8).

Davis and East Duplin will challenge Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals swept Topsail off the field in their last game, a feat they'll no doubt try to repeat.
