Soccer Game Preview: Bentonville West vs. Fayetteville

Bentonville West had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Springdale on Tuesday. The Wolverines' defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout. Bentonville West haven't had any issues with Springdale recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fayetteville). They put the hurt on Northside with a sharp 7-0 victory on Tuesday. The result kept Fayetteville happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Fayetteville pushed their record up to 5-0-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. As for Bentonville West, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-2.
