Baseball Recap: Caverna Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Caverna's offense. They came up short against the Larue County Hawks on Monday, falling 15-0. The loss leaves the Colonels still looking for their first win of the season.

Caverna's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Larue County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2-1.

Coming up, Caverna will take on Butler County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Larue County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against Hart County on the 15th.
