Lapwai extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Amasone George. The Lapwai Wildcats breezed by the Orofino Maniacs to the tune of 63-20 on Monday thanks in part to George, who went 6 for 14 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Skylin Picard, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 17 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Lapwai is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Orofino, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Lapwai does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orofino, they will square off against Timberline at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
