Softball Recap: Almeta Crawford Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Almeta Crawford's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Ganado Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Almeta Crawford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Ganado, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Almeta Crawford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Columbus on the 15th. As for Ganado, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hallettsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ganado is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
