It was a good run, but Floyd County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Patrick County Cougars by a score of 2-1. The match marked the Buffaloes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Floyd County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Harris, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Floyd County's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Patrick County, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.
