Baseball Recap: Hartland Takes a Loss

Hartland lost to Brighton on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell 7-3 to the Bulldogs. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Hartland now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Brighton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

Hartland will face off against Williamston at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Brighton, they will take on Dexter at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 2.1, the Dreadnaughts 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
