Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Triumphs

Greenwood posted their closest win since August 23rd on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Palmetto Mustangs 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Greenwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-11, 15-8.

Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Palmetto, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Greenwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against North Augusta on the 4th. Palmetto has also already played their next match (against York), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
