Volleyball Game Preview: William Campbell Generals vs. Nelson County Governors + How To Watch

William Campbell hasn't had much luck against Nelson County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Generals will host the Governors at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

William Campbell came up short against Appomattox County on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-6, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Nelson County lost 3-0 to Chatham on Thursday. The Governors haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Chatham scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Nelson County's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for William Campbell, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

William Campbell suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Nelson County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
