Football Recap: Crane Starts off Right with Win over Stanton

Crane took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They snuck past the Stanton Buffaloes with a 20-14 victory. For the Cranes, this counts as revenge for the 47-7 win the Buffaloes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Stanton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Luis Anaya, who rushed for 133 yards and one TD. Mason Martinez was another key player, picking up 94 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Crane has already played their next contest, a 42-6 victory against Kermit on the 5th. As for Stanton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 44-20 defeat against Wink on the 5th.
