Lago Vista typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Gateway College Preparatory proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Lago Vista Vikings. The result kept the Gators happy, as they haven't lost a game since February 4th.

They hit Lago Vista with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kayla Gonzalez, Mia Kennedy, and Sophia Krieger.

Gateway College Preparatory is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 66 goals over those nine matchups. Lago Vista's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-4.
