St. Joseph Academy benefitted from Torrez in 5-4 win
Aiden Torrez turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two walks surrendered in their first game on Friday. Oakleaf had no answer to Torrez as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks).
Torrez and St. Joseph Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Interlachen at 4:30 p.m. in their second game on Friday. Torrez has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 0.6 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Interlachen has only allowed 6.83 per game this season.
