Whatever he does, the Chino Hills sophomore guard gets loads of attention - especially after a dunk.

In what unofficially will go down around high school nation as "LaMelo Week," there is now this.

LaMelo Ball has now dunked for the very first time.

The super shooting sophomore guard for third-ranked Chino Hills (Calif.), who Tuesday scored 92 points in a 146-123 victory over Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga), took some ribbing from his star brother Lonzo Ball as well.

Listed at 6-foot-2, Ball's dunk was actually in warm-ups before Thursday's 105-70 win over Rancho Cucamonga. But according to his brothers it was his very first, making it extra special. Ball went on to score a pedestrian 27 points in the victory.

Chino Hills (27-1) had its national best 60-game win streak snapped on Saturday by Oak Hill Academy — Ball had a game-high 36 points in that game — before winning back-to-back games this week.

Here are a couple of tweets from oldest brother Lonzo, who Thursday starred down the stretch for UCLA in a comeback 82-79 win over Oregon, making fun of LaMelo before the dunk.
