After a string of 11 wins, Archer's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buford Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

When it comes to explaining why Archer lost, don't look at Jayana Castro. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs.

Archer's defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Buford, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.

Archer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Brookwood on the 20th. As for Buford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Hebron Christian on the 20th.
