Soccer Recap: West Brook Takes a Loss

If West Brook was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Lee last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West Brook Bruins came up short against the Sterling Rangers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in February.

West Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12-2. As for Sterling, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5-1.

The future could be bright for both West Brook and Sterling: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. West Brook will look to extend Port Arthur Memorial's nine-game losing streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sterling will try to hand Lee their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
