Jacey Carter-Mitchell paced Gainesville's offense, picking up ten kills. Carter-Mitchell got some help from Charlotte Judge and her 28 assists. Jorryn Dye controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Gainesville's record now sits at 19-8. As for Gateway, with the loss, they broke their eight-match winning streak and moved their record to 19-6.

Gainesville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Legacy on the 29th. Gateway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
