Basketball Recap: Baraboo Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waunakee, Baraboo was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 63-52 victory over the Reedsburg Beavers. For the Thunderbirds, this counts as revenge for the 67-44 win the Beavers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Baraboo found their leader in freshman Sara Tews, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Madilyn Gilbert, who posted nine points and three blocks.

Baraboo now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Reedsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
