Columbus Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Liberty Union Lions by a score of 2-0. The Vikings were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Lions, so the Vikings were just returning the favor.

While Columbus Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Liberty Union scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

Columbus Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Liberty Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Columbus Academy and Liberty Union will both be playing Northmor the next time they take the court. The Vikings will host the Golden Knights at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
