Natalia is 10-0 against Dilley since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Natalia Mustangs will take on the Dilley Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Monday, Natalia took a blow against Jourdanton, falling 78-44. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Indians/Squaws: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Dilley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Crystal City 69-23. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1492nd, while the Javelinas are ranked 587th).

Natalia's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-10. As for Dilley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-20.

Everything came up roses for Natalia against Dilley in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 67-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Natalia since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
