Basketball Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Comes Up Short

Prince Avenue Christian suffered their closest defeat since November 25, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Hebron Christian Lions by a score of 51-48. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 49-48.

Prince Avenue Christian's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Hebron Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Prince Avenue Christian will square off against Hart County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hart County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully Prince Avenue Christian likes a good challenge. We've got a battle between Lions coming up. Franklin County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hebron Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
