Soccer Recap: Copper Canyon Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Copper Canyon can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Aztecs have lost by exactly three goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Copper Canyon and nudges their season record down to 11-7. As for Sunrise Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Copper Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sunrise Mountain, they will be playing at home against Verrado at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
