With a playoff win on the line, Athens Bible rose to the challenge on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Cherokee Indians by the margin of a single free throw, 42-41. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Athens Bible has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Cherokee, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-13.

As of now, neither Athens Bible nor Cherokee have any future games scheduled.
