Football Game Preview: Dixon Rams vs. Center Cougars + Official Tickets

The Dixon Rams will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Center Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Dixon has given up an average of 34.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dixon is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 34 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Rio Linda on Friday. They lost 35-13 to the Knights.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Center, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They managed a 36-30 win over Bear River on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cougars' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Dixon has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Center, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-6.

Dixon was dealt a bruising 38-8 defeat at the hands of Center in their previous meeting back in November of 2018. Thankfully for the Rams, Michael Wortham (who threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
