Pine Grove's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders as they made off with an 11-0 win. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Jamie Dinger was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Callee Leffler, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. That's the most triples she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Addison Zimmerman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one double.

Pine Grove was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Our Lady of Lourdes Regional only posted a batting average of .176.

Pine Grove pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Pine Grove didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Tri-Valley on the 19th. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-2 defeat against Shamokin Area on the 19th.
