Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Eaton Rapids

On Friday, the Eaton Rapids Greyhounds narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Capital HomeSchool 50-48. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Greyhounds' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while Capital HomeSchool are ranked 80th).

The win got Eaton Rapids back to even at 8-8. As for Capital HomeSchool, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Eaton Rapids will venture away from home to square off against Olivet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eaton Rapids is facing Olivet at the right time seeing as Olivet is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Capital HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
