Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Takes Down Fountain-Fort Carson in a Playoff Battle

Chaparral had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans 3-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Chaparral walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-16.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

Coincidentally, Chaparral and Fountain-Fort Carson will both be playing Arvada West the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
