Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Chaparral + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Chaparral rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Chaparral walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-16.

Lauren Waggoner paced Chaparral's offense, picking up 14 kills. Waggoner got some help from Ainsley Adams and her 31 assists. Jenna Baller controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Chaparral's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

Coincidentally, Chaparral and Fountain-Fort Carson will both be playing Arvada West the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
