Basketball Recap: Olympic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bremerton last Tuesday, Olympic came back down to earth. The Olympic Trojans lost 70-44 to the Kingston Buccaneers on Friday. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Buccaneers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Olympic's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Kingston, their record now sits at 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympic won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sequim at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Olympic is facing Sequim at the right time seeing as Sequim is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kingston, they will head out on the road to square off against Port Angeles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
