Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Emma Ciancio and Alexa Farr Lead First Baptist Christian to Victory

After losing to Suburban Christian the last time they met, First Baptist Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 23-25, 25-19, 25-10.

First Baptist Christian was led to victory by Alexa Farr and Emma Ciancio. Farr had 12 assists and seven digs, while Ciancio had 11 kills, nine blocks, six digs, and four aces. Those 11 kills gave Ciancio a new career-high.

First Baptist Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Suburban Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

First Baptist Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Suburban Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Colonial Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
