South Aiken had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Midland Valley on Tuesday. The Thoroughbreds blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The victory was nothing new for the Thoroughbreds as they're now sitting on five straight.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Aiken was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-14.

South Aiken found their leader in sophomore Kendall Doolittle, who had nine digs and three aces. Alivia Gray also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

South Aiken was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Midland Valley still got an impressive performance from Aubree Heath, who had 16 digs and two assists.

South Aiken's win bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Midland Valley, they dropped their record down to 6-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

South Aiken didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Aiken on the 16th. As for Midland Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against North Augusta on the 16th.
