Basketball Recap: Delhi's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Delta Charter last Thursday, Delhi came back down to earth. The Delhi Bears fell 54-41 to the Block Bears on Friday. Delhi's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Delhi's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jatavis Hester, who went 5 for 8 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dustin D Ykes, who posted 12 points.

Delhi's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-13. As for Block, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing General Trass the next time they take the court. Block will host General Trass at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Delhi will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
