Football Game Preview: Smoky Hill Buffaloes vs. Grandview Wolves + How To Watch

Smoky Hill hasn't had much luck against Grandview recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Buffaloes will venture away from home to challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Smoky Hill has given up an average of 28.8 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Smoky Hill had to suffer through a 48-7 loss at the hands of Eaglecrest. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Raptors are ranked 11th).

Meanwhile, Grandview was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 21-17 to Arapahoe. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Smoky Hill will have to contain Chris Blanks as he made an impact in Grandview's last game. He rushed for 141 yards and one score. With that strong performance, Blanks is now averaging an impressive 101.7 rushing yards per game.

Grandview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Smoky Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Smoky Hill took a serious blow against Grandview when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 49-0. Can the Buffaloes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
