Soccer Recap: Chase's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Chase finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the Patton Panthers, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Chase can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 348th, while Patton are ranked 59th).

Chase moved to 5-6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak. As for Patton, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1-2.
