Volleyball Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss

Wayland lost against Wellesley two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Raiders. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Wayland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Wellesley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Wayland and Wellesley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Warriors will face off against Bedford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (59 vs. 257). Meanwhile, Wellesley (ranked 44th) will meet Weymouth (ranked 208th) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
