They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 35-8 victory over the Flint Southwestern Academy Knights. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won five contests by 23 points or more so far this season.

New Standard Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.
