Softball Game Preview: Berea Bulldogs vs. Greer Yellow Jackets

Berea is 1-8 against Greer since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Berea came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Seneca, falling 13-3.

Meanwhile, Greer scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 15-8 to Blue Ridge. The Yellow Jackets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Adison Howard made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Maddie McLemore was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Berea now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Greer, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12-2.
