Basketball Recap: Roscommon Piles Up the Points Against Tawas Area

It's playoff time, and Roscommon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Tawas Area Braves to the tune of 64-36 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bucks as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Roscommon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keaton Pratt led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 20 points and nine steals. Pratt has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Griffis, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 15 points.

Roscommon was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.

Roscommon's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Tawas Area, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Roscommon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-57 loss against Alcona on the 26th. Tawas Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
