Baseball Recap: Fayetteville Comes Up Short

Fayetteville lost against Reeltown back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wolves fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 6-5. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cam Hammonds was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Goins, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Fayetteville's defeat dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Reeltown, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.

As of now, neither Fayetteville nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
