Basketball Game Preview: Ar-We-Va Rockets vs. CAM Cougars

Ar-We-Va hasn't had much luck against CAM recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Ar-We-Va Rockets will welcome the CAM Cougars at 7:15 p.m. Ar-We-Va knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully CAM likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Ar-We-Va earned a 64-55 win over Glidden-Ralston. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, CAM had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 54-33 win.

CAM's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points over those games. As for Ar-We-Va, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.

Ar-We-Va strolled past CAM when the teams last played back in January by a score of 52-34. Does Ar-We-Va have another victory up their sleeve, or will CAM turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
