Basketball Recap: Mcauley Catholic Drops Season-High Score on Wheaton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McAuley Catholic). They had just enough and edged the Wheaton Bulldogs out 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since December 29, 2023.

The win made it two in a row for McAuley Catholic and bumps their season record up to 2-11. As for Wheaton, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McAuley Catholic will head out to challenge New Covenant Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheaton, they will face off against Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
