Soccer Recap: Anclote vs. Mitchell
After flying high against Fivay last Monday, Anclote came back down to earth. The Anclote Sharks came up short against the Mitchell Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 8-0. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Anclote's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Mitchell, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0-1.
Anclote will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Mitchell, they are taking a road trip to take on Ransom Everglades at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mitchell knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Ransom Everglades likes a good challenge.
