Soccer Game Preview: Brophy College Prep vs. Cathedral

The Brophy College Prep Broncos will be taking part in a tournament against the Cathedral Phantoms at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Brophy College Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Loyola on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Broncos have been dealt a draw since December 2nd.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Cathedral was forced to settle for a draw. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Servite. The Phantoms had to tread lightly for part of the match as Jayden Rios and Diego Torres were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Victor Aguiniga and Christopher Guzman scored both of Cathedral's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Cathedral's draw gives them a new season record of 3-2-1. As for Brophy College Prep, they moved theirs to 6-2-2.
