Flag Football Recap: Strong Effort on D from Torey Souma and Sydney Lawson Leads Panther Creek over Jordan

While Panther Creek put up some points on Monday, the same can't be said for Jordan. The Catamounts snuck past the Falcons with a 6-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-0 on Thursday.

Panther Creek didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Torey Souma and Sydney Lawson.

Panther Creek has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.8 points on average over those games. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Panther Creek will square off against Green Hope at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Catamounts 6.8, the Falcons 11.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
